Shamanism is an ancient spiritual method of healing based on spiritual practices and principles found cross-culturally on every continent over the past 40,000 years.

Colleen Kiley is a shamanic practitioner and Reiki Master Teacher residing in Vestal, New York.  She is the director of Healing Harmonics and operates a private healing and teaching practice.  Healing Harmonics offers contemporary programs rooted in ancient traditions through private sessions, workshops, apprenticeships and drumming circles.  Colleen has studied with Michael Harner, Ph.D., founder of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies and Sandra Ingerman, author of Soul Retrieval: Mending the Fragmented Self.  Colleen has completed the Foundation's Three-Year Program in Advanced Shamanism and Shamanic Healing.  She has also studied with shamans in Northern China, Inner Mongolia and Central Asia and North America.  Colleen is a minister of the Circle of the Sacred Earth.

Healing Harmonics seeks to re-integrate Shamanic healing methods into contemporary society.  Shamanic healing co-exists with conventional health care, and does not seek to take the place of other healing systems.  It is a holistic system of healing and ritual:

Core Shamanism is based on practices and principles found in many indigenous cultures which have been adapted to contemporary cultures.  One distinctive practice of Shamanism is journeying to other worlds, aided by personal helping spirits, to assist individuals and community.  The spirits are the true healers and teachers.

The Shamanic Apprenticeship Program is being offered to individuals who have been introduced to the process of shamanic journey and are interested in deepening their connection to spirit.
